C F McEwan

C F McEwan is the accessories label by textile artist Clare McEwan. Drawn from Clare’s creative projects, she presents a collection of printed silk scarves. Ideas are captured through Clare’s drawings, prints, 3d sculptural forms and macro photography. With a First Class Honours degree from London’s Central Saint Martins college, Clare has continued to pursue her own artistic practice, investigating the use of digital and print media within textiles. Launched at the end of 2012, these printed scarves have been described as 'Wearable works of art. Inspired by the play-off between light, shadow, texture and surface, Clare shows respect for artisanal craft, coupled with contemporary printing techniques." C F McEwan scarves are now stocked in a range of boutiques and gallery shops around the UK.
