The deWAR Family Story Our story begins in 1938, when Vanina deWAR, my grandmother, opened deWAR's first boutique in Paris. Because of the Second World War the brand moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I grew up. Maison deWAR enjoyed great success until my grandmother's sickness caught us by surprise and we decided to close the brand. For the past 15 years I've had only one goal in mind: to reopen deWAR, and with it, those fantasy childhood years spent between fabric roles and needles. Maison deWAR reopened in 2017, and ever since I come to work everyday hoping to bring you chic and comfortable resort wear made with love and care.
