Ergo Sum by Swapnanjali Jewellery Studio is a Indian label by gemologists and diamond graders mother-daughter duo, Swapna and Aparna Pednekar. Swapna is an ex-banker and Aparna is a travel & lifestyle journalist; Contributing Editor at Vogue India. At their studio in Pune, India, they design 18 kt gold and sterling silver jewellery studded with gemstones which is handcrafted by young, third-generation craftsmen from Calcutta. The signature style is classic and elegant with bold, unabashed use of colour, from plush emeralds to plump rose quartz and glittering sapphires. The label's Spring Summer 2017 Collection - Rangoon Calling - draws inspiration from mysterious Myanmar, incorporating fresh colours of the landscape using emeralds, mint jade, turquoise, citrin, rose quartz and aquamarine.
