Meet The Designer

Nomad Design is dedicated to making homewares and lifestyle accessories in the UK from extraordinary artisan textiles. Our focus is on consciously sourcing textiles that are transformed into products that are functional, beautiful and durable. Founder, Georgina Olley, established Nomad Design in 2015, inspired by the beauty of artisan textiles and the importance of supporting the communities that make them. Her passion for hand making and geometric patterns have been combined with the spark felt when something new is discovered. She is also incredibly drawn to the importance of provenance, culturally and environmentally. Supporting traditional weavers, hand dyers, designers and communities is essential in order to prevent the mass production of everything. Our current collections comprise of a meticulously curated selection of fabrics from Central Asia and Mali. These are transformed by hand into modern accessories that create beautiful complements to almost every interior and lifestyle. We proudly manufacture all of our products by hand in England.
