Bling up your living room with this cushion and your best Malachite decorative accessories, A veritable jeweller’s workshop of loose uncut Columbian emeralds interspersed with topaz crystals forms the basis of this bluish-green starburst pattern velvet.

Turn the cushion over for a soothing, zen look with a single lily leaf surrounded by an ombre green halo.

A stubby-tailed little bird that is to be found hopping around on the forest floor searching for insects. It is more often heard before it’s seen due to its camouflage colour. Its habitat extends from the sub-Himalayas down to Sri Lanka.

Meet The Designer

Anjali Hood’s sumptuous velvet cushions are designed to instantly freshen up your room with their unique and vibrant patterns. A fascination with birds inspired her signature double-sided cushions, which have been created to match the plumage of particular birds. Velvet is her fabric of choice and one she has a deep connection with, since her family were the first to import the looms to manufacture velvet in India. As birds play such a huge part of our ecosystem, the demise of species and more recently, the demise of a huge number of seabirds, has led Anjali to partner with Birdlife International to contribute toward their conservation efforts that sustain and protect safe habitats for our feathered friends.
