The material or ingredients in this collection are at least 80% derived from organic farming.
This collection is entirely made in the designer’s studio and/or by an artisan collective of fewer than 10 people.
Workers are paid a living wage; no child labour or human trafficking is involved in the production of the collection; the factory is compliant with all local environmental regulations.
You can wash this mask after every use, making it perfect for everyday wear. Japanese denim is the outermost fabric on the mask, providing an extremely attractive aesthetic. The lining of the mask is constructed from TORAY MACSPEC, an antibacterial, fabric technology.
We also use Japanese SEK certified fabric, meaning that our ultra absorbent, quick drying masks are sanitary, eco-friendly and kind to the environment (SEK).
Knitted with yarn, the masks prevent sweating and feel good when placed on your skin. Fashionable and functional, every part of the mask is sustainably sourced and manufactured within Japan, one of Tokkou’s unique selling points.
The masks also have a section between the linings where you are able to place medical gauze to increase the functionality of the mask, making multiple uses safer. We deliver each of our masks in a sealed bag, directly from a sterilised location, maintaining the highest level of hygiene standards.

Meet The Designer
Tokkou is a contemporary Japanese fashion inspired by bōsōzoku, a Japanese youth subculture. The name TOKKOU comes from the Japanese term tokkō-fuku, which means “Special Attack Clothing”.
The unique collection is made-in-Japan with the most exceptional craftsmanship, using the best sustainable fabrics in Japan. Alongside fabrics from Japan the brand also uses the best Italian fabric for their suits and of course the collection has the best Japanese denim which is sourced and produced in Japan’s Okayama district.
