This item is held by Hring Eftir Hring in Iceland

A part of the Pirouette collection by Hring eftir hring's Steinunn Vala, the Pirouette Bracelet is inspired by the magical world of old traveling circus.

“For me the circus consists of two contrasting sides. On one hand it is spectacular and beautiful with it’s strong make-up, the excitement, the colorful costumes and it’s general wow-factor. But then again, there is this dark flipside to it all.”
Made in Iceland

Made from beach wood beads (carefully selected and manufactured in the small german city of Heilbronn) and clay (handkneaded in our small workshop here in Reykjavík), the bracelets are made one by one by us, the team of Hring eftir hring.

If the colored clay beads need cleaning we find that warm water, a drop of soap and a toothbrush work the best. And regarding the toothbrush. Do keep the one for the actual toothbrushing separate from the one for the clay. Believe it, we speak from experience… well unless, of course, you’re one of those with soap appreciating taste buds. We don’t judge.

Meet The Designer

Hring eftir hring is a jewelry design studio from Reykjavík, Iceland, founded in 2009 by their creative director / main designer, Steinunn Vala. Creating most of their pieces in their studio in Reykjavík, they aim to be as adventurous, sincere and creative in their design as they possibly can while striving to bring their interest in people and their passion for art and craftsmanship over to their work. The mission is, according to them, to brighten up the rainy days, wich they so happen to have plenty of in Iceland, and make the sunny ones even sunnier.
