George up for award with his smart move

George Graham set up his business only two years ago, but he quickly found success. Wolf & Badger represents about 70 independent fashion and design brands whose products are sold through his shop in Notting Hill, West London. As well as providing brands with a space to sell their products, the company also offers support infrastructure and consultancy services. Before setting up the business, George, 26, worked as a management consultant but soon realised that it was not for him. 'I always has strong ideas on how to do things and find that it's much more challenging and rewarding to run my own business,' he says. And so far it has paid off. As well as the boutique in London, George has opened a shop in Montenegro and the brands are also sold online. George has been shortlisted in the Young Entrepreneur of the year category at the CBI Growing Business Awards. The winners will be announced tomorrow at a ceremony in central London.
