The lid is made out from Mexican tropical Guamuchil wood.

Stone:
The container has a stone plate to be heat directly in the stove or in the oven. (no use in microwave)
you should be extremely carefully when you take the hot plate to be place inside the container ( use a kitchen glove)
To clean you could wash like any other plate with soap or only rinse with water-
Careful
Some vinegars emit vapours that modify the texture of the marble. They may lose shine.
We recommend that you use the oil for the table and not use them as long-term .
Cheeses and other products with grease may leave marks on the plate.
