Star’s classic and tailored silhouettes in deliciously striking and modern colours attracted the likes of celebrities, Alexandra Burke, Jameela Jamil, Bella Freud, actress Camilla Rutherford and the girls from the hot new TV show “Made In Chelsea” – Caggie Dunlop, Gabriella Ellis, and Cheska Hull.
Not for the faint hearted, this collection is all about forward-thinking and empowered woman who know what they want and how to get it – even in a foot-length citrus silk gown!
Star and Rox, who were both dressed in Star Hu designs, dazzled the shop-floor as the stylish-duo so often do.
The ultimate in sizzling summer style, Star’s designs will see you turning heads wherever you go!
Star Hu’s S/S11 Collection is available at Wolf & Badger!
We’re daydreaming about goodie bags today, otherwise known as the freebies found on the front row seats during fashion weeks. The recent graduate shows as well as our upcoming trunk show are responsible for this current inspiration. This week designer Star Hu is providing champagne smoothies, one-on-one style consultations and celebrity guests, which feels very fashion week to us.
Firstly, as everyone knows, no goodie bag is complete without a sweet treat! Cue a trip to M&M’s World, which has just opened in Leicester Square and is the largest candy store in the world at nearly 35,000 square feet over four floors! Personalise your M&M’s free of charge, watch the M&M’s doctors in action, even pick up an M&M’s chessboard if you feel so inclined – the possibilities are both endless and delicious.
Whilst on the subject of food, a visit to Taste of London – which runs all weekend – is a must. Our suggestion? Take along your dad on Fathers’ Day and create for him his own personal goody bag gift full of mouth-watering finds from the festival.
Back to fashion, the Ricard Petanque Summer Garden Party is offering free Panama hats to all attendees, a stylish addition to any goodie bag. Taking place tomorrow in the beautiful and historic Chelsea Physic Garden, the theme of the event is of course the petanque tournament, the quintessentially French version of boules. However, attendees can also enjoy live alfresco music, a giant chess set, a treasure hunt, barbecues, as well as divine summer cocktails!
Finally, do pop over to Star Hu’s trunk show tomorrow if you can! The designer’s pieces, made out of luxury fabrics, emphasise and flatter the female form and add some serious glamour to your wardrobe! As well as enjoying champagne smoothies and celebrity guest (so fashion week, darlings!), guests can enjoy live music from singer ROX, £50 off all her dresses, one-on-one style consultations as well as having the chance to win a Star Hu dress in a raffle.
Happy weekend, everyone… enjoy your personal goodie bag!
