Balmista was founded during the lockdown by Ajna, who got made redundant whilst pregnant. Being in such a vulnerable position, she decided to turn lemons into mojitos and created her waterless, sustainable and all natural face care range. The products are made of minimalist, effective formulas, combining only botanicals and scientifically-proven active ingredients. Unlike water-based cosmetics, Balmista is proudly free from preservatives, water, fillers, texture enhancers, fragrance and alcohol. Cutting off the unnecessary, this clean skincare contains only ingredients that will make your skin thrive and nothing that will disrupt your skin barrier. Waterless also means concentrated and sustainable products that create less chemical rinse-off waste going into the water system.
