Dear Frances

London-based designer, Jane Frances studied at the London College of Fashion and ModaPelle Academy in Milan. After graduating, she spent her formative years in Milan, learning the technical art of Italian craftsmanship under the guidance of her teacher and mentor, before moving to London where she worked for a number of fashion houses. Determined to share her voice and aesthetic, Jane launched Dear Frances to the press during London Fashion Week AW14. With a strong design aesthetic and great respect for artisan detailing, Jane brings a fresh approach to shoe design for the sophisticated urban woman. In 2014, Dear Frances won the Joe Meltzer Award for design excellence, which was presented at the prestigious Footwear Friends awards night and sponsored by the British Footwear Association.
