THE NOU PROJECT

The concept behind THE NOU PROJECT or TNP was created to help artists gain exposure beyond the static walls of galleries and onto the streets. They collaborate with international artists to create limited edition collectibles that become a statement once worn. They also created a classic line of minimalist sneakers in superior leather in black, white and nude. They recently ventured into our first microfiber pieces, in an attempt to switch from leather to "vegan leather" in the colors burgundy, gray and petrol blue. "NOU means NEW in dutch", it represents the fact that there will always be a "nou" artist to discover and hence a "nou' collaboration. The brand was created by two girls in New York City and since then, they've been traveling the world on the lookout for Nou artists, they have popped up in Dubai, Miami during Art Basel, NYC in December, Riyadh, Beirut, Los Angeles and recently moved their headquarters to London. The latest artist collaboration with Shinji Murakami was launched in London. Murakami is a Japanese artist based in Brooklyn, he released 2 limited editions with TNP called heart and sparkles.
