After the passing of her mother, Olive Adassa Meddar, in 2012, and with her ever present words of encouragement as a driving force, Louise took a step back from her career as a therapist to pursue her true passion, fashion design, with a specific emphasis on accessories. The debut collection is Inspired by the chic and elegant handbag collection her mother took pride in donning as part of her Sunday best. The process was cathartic, healing and Louise found solace in creating something that would honour her mother’s legacy for a lifetime and that is the Louise Meddar brand.
