Marcelle Lawson-Smith

Described by L’Officiel magazine as ‘one of the most original jewellery designers of her generation’, Marcelle Lawson-Smith intertwines a vivid story-telling narrative and sense of surrealism throughout her collections. The search for eternal life is a recurring theme in her pieces, depicted through a union of cutting-edge and traditional production techniques. Marcelle was born in Belo Horizonte, a city in the mountains of Brazil, she completed a BA degree in graphic design and has also trained in fine art, jewellery, photography and ballet.
