Hi, we’re Sam and Shivani, the husband and wife co-founders of Strawberry & Cream. We started our luxury, sustainable bedding company when we discovered the toll that cotton farming has on earth’s most precious and scarce resource - water. It requires over 11,000 litres of water to grow just 1kg of cotton. Most cotton is grown under irrigated conditions. Organic cotton is less reliant on irrigated water, reducing its use by up to 90%, compared to standard cotton. Organic cotton is also free from harmful chemicals, and is kinder to your skin and the planet. Our bedding is made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. GOTS is the gold standard in excellence in the textile industry. It means strict criteria has been met on production standards and worker welfare – from farm to factory.
