Product Description

This sculptural double wicked candle was designed in reference to motifs characteristic of Highlow Jewelry. Nodding to the use of warm white tones and shapes from previous collections, this candle bridges Highlow Jewelry into homewares, a first for designer Sonya Gallardo.

Place this candle in the centre of your dining table, or rest it as an art object on your bookshelf.

Care & Info

Please do not leave burning pillar candles unattended. Keep lit candles away from children, pets, drafts and combustable items. Place burning candles on heat resistant surfaces. Do not move while lit or until the wax cools and hardens.
Do not burn candles for more than 3 hours. Keep wick trimmed to 5-7mm. Stop burning candles when only 5-7mm of wax remains.

Meet The Designer

Beginning at craft markets in 2012, Julie Tran started selling her homemade jewellery alongside her candlemaker sister, Kelly. Their weekly appearances helped them to develop the Aacute name and cultivate a loyal fanbase, many of whom still shop with them today.

With a love for detail and distinction, Julie has learnt how to beautifully capture the variations in her materials. Her jewellery takes inspiration from nature and architectural design, with each piece carrying a glimpse of Aacute's signature individuality.

Still handmade by Julie in her Melbourne studio, Aacute jewellery has been proudly stocked in boutiques and gallery design stores internationally, including MoMA Design Store USA (Japan) and The Conran Shop (UK).
