Beautifully reproduced from Jane's intricate black Biro drawing ‘Revenge'. This is the second design of her ‘Grey Wolves’ diptych. One of eight designs from her iconic print and china collection ‘In Homage to the Last Great Carnivores of Eurasia', this body of work highlights threatened and endangered carnivores across the Eurasian continent. ‘Revenge’ is inspired by an infamous tale of love and loyalty between a wolf and his mate, as a black wolf mourns the loss of his white mate and transforms into a superhero. Jane's meticulous drawings take several months to research and make. Sumptuous signed and numbered limited edition archival pigment print, made by one of the very best printmakers in the industry.

Artist Jane Lee McCracken constructs intricate multi-layered Biro drawings, and sculptures and installations incorporating her drawings, designs products and is Founder of ‘Where Did All the Animals Go?’ art and environmental education project. Born in Edinburgh, her art practice explores loss to both humans and animals generated by human destruction and is representational of life's beauty and brutal reality. Sumptuous prints beautifully reproduced from her meticulous drawings which take several months to create and incorporate complex and symbolic drawing layers, are made by one of the very best printmakers in the industry. Her exquisite fine English bone china collection of plates and mugs 'In Homage to the Last Great Carnivores of Eurasia', which celebrates the beauty and majesty of threatened and endangered carnivores across the Eurasian continent, whilst highlighting the challenges they face in an uncertain world, are made in Stoke-on-Trent to the highest standard by prestigious ceramic manufacturers The New English.
