Beautifully reproduced from Jane's intricate red, blue, green and black Biro drawing ‘Russian Doll'. A representation of the iconic Russian doll. Inspired by a Russian doll from Jane's own collection, with a hand painted image of Ivan Shishkin’s 'Morning in a Pine Forest' 1889, which features a mother bear and cubs playing.

This layered drawing includes imagery of Red Army soldiers fighting in Stalingrad and a self-portrait. The drawing was created as a memorial to all female victims of violence during conflict, a weapon of war still used today. Jane's meticulous drawings take several months to research and make. Sumptuous signed and numbered limited edition archival pigment print, made by one of the very best printmakers in the industry.
Original Biro drawing by Jane Lee McCracken.
Edition: 500.
Paper: Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm.
Permanent for greater than 250 years under normal glass. 275 years displayed behind UV glass before noticeable fading and/or changes in colour balance occur.
Print is signed and numbered by Jane.
