Style notes

Plant-dyed cushions, hand-stitched by women from a small village in West Bengal, India. The cross-stitch pattern has been achieved by using a straight stitch called kantha that has been passed down from mother to daughter for generations from West India and Bangladesh.

Sitaara is part of a collection inspired by Mother Nature, the Earthy orange colour represents the colour of Earth. Dyed using madder root by a third-generation plant-dye dye house in Sima-Nagar, West Bengal.

Hand-loomed cotton makes these cushions soft to touch and durable.
Finished with a zip, all our cushions and filled with premium British wool.
