AWOL creates limited edition art, interior décor and fashion accessories inspired by beautiful places encountered on the artist’s travels around the world. Merging art and design to create contemporary, artful collections inspired by beautiful travel stories, she creates all the artwork by hand using various mediums and techniques: drawing, painting, collage, watercolours, ink, pastels and oil paints. As a finishing touch, she weaves a hand-written message into each design; a love letter to the place that inspired its creation. AWOL brings the art of travel to life, creating art that can travel with you, be shared with others, or inspire you at home. Awol’s designs have been featured in Vogue, CondéNast Traveller, and Harper’s Bazaar, among other art and design publications.
