LES MAINS DE MAMIE

Since 2019, Les Mains de Mamie is a feminine, luminous and transgenerational french knitwear brand. There are more than thirty retired grannies in France, hand knitting each of these pieces : they are women from the South of France, from Marseille. Les Mains de Mamie is for women with a plural femininity, who love nostalgia and authenticity. Our luminous knits are timeless, imagined to live a long time, without worrying about trends. We use natural materials such as mohair-silk yarns, woven and dyed in Spain, organic cotton made in Turkey and woven in Italy. Each piece requires between 3 - 4 days of work Each purchase from us, allows a knitting grandmother to obtain a financial supplement. Behind the "Mamie Gang", there is a sister & brother designer duo : Aurélie and John De Barros.
