Elliot Young...MORE than just a fine jewelry line.
When Jessica Elliot and Jennifer Young joined forces two years ago, they knew they HAD to do more than design and produce beautiful pieces. They WANTED to do more. After all, beauty is more appealing when it not only comes from a person’s outward appearance, but from the inside as well. The jewelry designers wanted to make an impact and give back to help children in crises. And that is when the cornerstone of their business was formed, the Elliot Young IMPACT PROGRAM, also known as the #theEYeffect!
Thinking about the crises affecting youth today, Elliot Young has committed a portion of all sales to charities and causes that will help children have a brighter future. To date they have carefully partnered with Saving Innocence, The Grace Rose Foundation, Listen & Talk, The Club for Youth, No Kid Hungry, and The Summit View School to name a few. Jess and Jen have spent a good amount of time getting to know each organization and talking with the teams that are passionately leading the efforts to support children in need. They are grateful to be working alongside the amazing souls that fight for what is right each and every single day. Upon checkout, each customer can choose where they want to make an impact and support children (hunger, abuse/trafficking, physical and mental health). Elliot Young takes care of the rest!
In addition to donating a portion of sales to charities, Jess and Jen have collaborated with Saving Innocence, The Grace Rose Foundation and The Club for Youth to design customized pieces for their organizations. A percentage of the sale of each piece goes directly back to support the work of each of these organizations.
Elliot Young has also created another platform for people to give back. Individuals can collaborate with the EY team to raise money for a charity, school, youth sports team, club, or sorority they wish to support. The organization representative will receive an Impact Code to share with their community. They can also coordinate private trunk shows and pop-up shops with a discount incentive and a percentage of the sales will go directly to a cause supporting youth that the host has chosen. Most recently, a trunk show held in Pittsburgh, PA supported Band of Parents, an organization helping families with loved ones battling neuroblastoma as well as the doctors working to cure the disease. In two hours they were able to raise several thousand dollars for the charity, while the guests had a great time chatting, shopping, and enjoying some vino!
Jessica and Jennifer are committed to staying focused on the greater good. As mothers, they try to model for their own children that one persons’ actions affect another. Their recipe of creating beautiful jewelry while paying it forward, is what energizes this partnership!
