Remove jewelry when going to bed and during physical activity.
Store each jewelry piece in a soft cloth bag or wrap and keep away from direct light when not in use.
You can clean brass at home by mixing lemon juice and baking soda into a paste. Rub the surface of the jewelry with a soft cloth, rinse, and completely buff dry for added shine.
Use a non-abrasive metal polisher with a soft cloth to remove any tarnish. Avoid using products with alcohol and fragrances.
