Product Details

Beautiful silver earrings with black enamel and gold-plated detail. Named after the historically important city close to the Syrian border, our Hatay earrings are inspired by the aesthetics of southeastern Turkey, where our partner artisans, who are Syriac Orthodox, have deep familial roots. Style with denim or for go with a printed dress for a more boho feel. Product handcrafted in Istanbul. Product materials include 925 silver, 18-karat gold vermeil, and black enamel.

To maintain your jewelry, wipe gently with a damp cloth that is soft and clean. Do not soak in water. Do not use liquid silver cleaner. Avoid contact with soaps, detergents, perfume or hair spray.

Born in Istanbul, Seyahan offers timeless yet stylish jewelry collections inspired by its Old World origins.

Seyahan was started in 2012 by couple Matthias Weimer and Laura Parker, while they were living in Istanbul, where they first met. Matthias had wanted to create a business that would showcase the work of silver and gold craftsmanship in Turkey, while Laura had aimed to find work in the fashion sector. They met through their Turkish teacher, began collaborating and very soon after, fell in love.

Today, they have a boutique in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, where they continue to be inspired by the city’s charm and beauty.
