The cut of these lapis gemstones is called ‘watermelon’ and it is set in a gold mount with a pearl just protruding from the bottom of the double gold circlet, with a tiny ‘top hat’ of gold.
The metal is recycled .925 sterling silver with one micron of recycled 18k gold vermeil. The hypoallergenic post comes out from the middle of the lapis gemstone so the earring sits well up on the ear.
