Style notes
Ananya, a perfectly imperfect rainbow kantha throw that took 15 days to complete. Made up of 3 layers of hand loomed cotton, the middle layer is a stunning recycled cotton saree, visible when held up to the light. A seamless balance of tradition and the present day.
Each kantha throw is finished slightly differently with a freehand cross stitch border in black, red, green, blue and yellow.
We commissioned this collection just at the beginning of the lockdown in India. It was our way to ensure we could help artisans during this trying period.
Sustainability guarantees

Any / all colours achieved in their collections have been dyed at eco-certified dye houses or with plants and flowers.
They currently work with an artisan community from West Bengal, India, weavers from the Aegean region in Turkey and the Free Noble people of Morocco and are working to add more talented artisans to the platform.
