Juanita Crowley has been creating and designing since she was a child. Her artistic needs found their perfect medium in designing jewellery, and it has become an extension of who she is and what she has been - fashion designer, current affairs producer, artist. Juanita loves the process of connecting to her artistic core, and imbuing each creation with passion, and wants the joy she and her small team get from designing and making each piece to be shared by everyone who wears it. Serafin produces jewellery with a conscience, and all in this small team are committed to ethically sourced, conflict free, sustainable jewellery. What's auspicious about Serafin's beginnings is that Juanita found this new creative medium through her eldest son Gabriel. He was drawn to jewellery after an accident caused him to rethink his path. So Serafin began just two years ago initially out of Juanita's desire to work creatively and importantly, with her son. And now it's become a family affair - Juanita, Gabriel and niece Amanda. In 2018 three highly skilled artisanal jewellers join the team, who have become a part of their growing family, and who are all a perfect fit with Serafin - full of joy, kindness and love. Juanita lives, works and plays on Sydney's Northern Beaches - her little piece of Heaven.
