ANNE FONTAINE

The founder, Anne Fontaine, is a Brazilian-French woman born and raised in Rio de Janeiro who shares her life between Paris, (France), NYC (USA) and Bahia (Brazil). She settled down in France for her studies and met her husband Ari Zlotkin. After discovering an old trunk filled to the brim with white shirts, they both decided to take over his family's clothing business. The brand Anne Fontaine was born. We call it a love story. Her vision was to redefine the historically masculine shirt to create a modern wardrobe staple which would celebrate artistry and femininity. The iconic white shirt would become the center of the brand. The floral motif inspired by her love of nature becoming her second signature which is featured on accessories, the iconic Scarlet bag and also apparel.
