Found Thread creates luxurious silk printed scarves with quirky twists. All textiles originate from the designer, Mia de Las Casas’ hand drawings, where the effect of the drawn line is kept in the final prints. Found Thread explores the witticisms of nature and forms, where elements combine for patterns that border on the surreal. They are playful, original and environment focused. Collection ‘II’ is about duality and transient forms - bodies are mirrored and elements collide. Umbrellas act as lily pads, female forms are celebrated and figures charm. When worn and tied, Found Thread’s silk scarves become ever-changing abstract forms.
