idioma studio is a New York-based fashion label. Joel De La Rosa and Nabila Brache have an interest in contemporary art and culture, and developed a project that goes beyond clothing. They aspire to make clothing with meaning, while also developing the brand as a cultural platform. The cultural platform is informed by dialogues with contemporary creatives in parallel fields. idioma studio’s garments and jewelry are made in Dominican Republic, supporting local tailors, artisans, and ateliers. Stones for the jewelry are carefully selected, making all pieces unique with materials that are found locally.
