kekkai was founded in 2014 as a collaborative art project between two sisters living in New York City and London. It is a platform for joint artistic experimentation, self-expression and the translation of idea into material form. Their designs are created through a process-driven artistic practice that explores the overlap between digital and analogue techniques of pattern making. kekkai value high quality materials and craftsmanship and their scarves are printed in Como, Italy, and hand-finished with love and precision.
