Outsider

Outsider was launched in 2009 with a mission statement that set the scene: “Ethical fashion should just look like fashion”. The founding designer Noorin Khamisani was born and raised in London. After spending a year travelling around Asia, visiting factories in Pakistan, India and Cambodia added to a greater understanding of the impact of garment production on the lives of people involved in manufacturing. Outsider has worked with the London College of Fashion Centre for Sustainable Fashion. As worn by actresses Emma Thompson and Elizabeth Moss as well as Livia Firth of Eco Age and The Green Carpet Challenge.
