The conscious urbanwear which uses fabrics from luxury sportswear to adopt the ready-to-wear codes. Uma Oath was born from a combination of textile design x a passion for dancing. Strength and comfort, the clothing becomes a tool for movement while maintaining a structured line. Designed in France, Uma’s Japanese-inspired garments are handcrafted with an intention of durability. Available for display in our Paris 11 showroom, our pieces are meant to last over time. Our vision of a more conscious fashion industry has led us to rethink our entire production system: reduced quantities, local ateliers and decreased green house gas emissions through shortened logistical circuits. Uma’s drive for a more responsible system encourages a more balanced and equal society through reduced profit margins. Our mission is to ensure quality does not remain the privilege of a minority. Partner of the humanitarian association Dance United, UMA OATH bears a promise: to support Humans as they move through life. At the crossroads of several worlds and at the heart of several passions, UMA OATH saw the light of day in 2016 and won the Grand Prix Maisons de Mode at its very first public show.
