This is a pale pink pique cotton shirt with subtle touches of blue and white mottled Kenyan Kikoy fabric inside the collar, under the cuffs and on the side slits (gusset). The Kikoy fabric is locally sourced in Kenya and this design is inspired by the tropical, white sandy beaches and turquoise seas from the Kenyan coast, hence the name 'Mawimbi', which means 'waves' in Swahili, the national language of Kenya. With a new collection brings a new charity project, with 5% of all sales going towards supporting marine life off the coast of Kenya through Eco World Recycling projects.

The pique cotton fabric used bridges the gap between a polo shirt and an Oxford cotton shirt. This is a very soft shirt with a light stretch, which provides extra comfort. The stretch also allows you to pull up the cuffs to a comfortable level on your forearm to show off the Kikoy detailing.
