Turquoise is believed to be the oldest stone known to man, a talisman of kings, sharmans and warriors. Ancient cultures see turquoise as the stone of purification, protection, power and luck. It is said to dispel negative energies which is why you often see it within an evil eye charm. As this contains real, semi-precious stones there can be some colour shade variation.

This metal loves being worn everyday. It does naturally tarnish over time especially when not worn. This is easily corrected with a sterling silver polishing cloth as well as with warm soapy water and a soft non-abrasive cloth. If wearing everyday we recommend regular cleaning to keep its shine.

Even though these stones can be worn everyday we recommend regularly cleaning them with warm soapy water and a soft non-abrasive cloth to keep their sparkle and shine. Using lotions and wearing in the shower will dull their appearance but this is easily sorted with a quick clean. Opals are the stone to be careful with as they are fragile and can crack with extreme temperature.
Avoid spaying perfumes or hairspray near any jewellery.
