Handmade moose moose leather gloves fitted with soft, navy blue cashmere lining. The gloves are traditionally table cut and handsewn in Pécs in southern Hungary, one of the leading centers in the world for high quality gloves. The uniquely soft and warm moose leather is sourced from Sweden and Finland and tanned with vegetable tanning only.

Care & Info
Moose leather is more durable than most other leather qualities used for gloves. Nevertheless, try to avoid exposure to too much rain. If your gloves get wet, they should dry naturally on a flat surface. Keep them away from external heat sources such as radiators, drying cabinets or sunlight. While drying, you are recommended to occasionally put the gloves on in order to stretch them out.

If your gloves get dirty, they should be cleaned by a specialized leather dry cleaner. Smaller, dark spots on the gloves might be removed by yourself by gently rubbing talc on the spot using a soft cotton towel.
Sizing
To find your size, please measure the circumference of your hand at its widest point, which is just below the knuckles, and then look in the table below. If you are between two sizes, we usually recommend our customers to order the smaller size. This is because your gloves will stretch over time.

We work exclusively with moose leather and the gloves are characterized by a clean design with focus on letting the raw materials and craftmanship behind the gloves shine through. Nordic Moose is founded by Torkel Fagrell from Sweden.

Our leather comes from Sweden and Finland where the moose population is vibrant and hunting is strictly regulated by the authorities. Moose is hunted for its meat but also in order to keep the size of the moose population at an appropriate level, as decided by the authorities. The leather is a byproduct that would go to waste if not picked up by local tanneries. Moose leather is a uniquely soft and warm leather. Gloves made of moose leather are therefore lovely to touch, comfortable to wear and provide great protection against the cold.
