Here are a few tips that will help prolong the life of your plated piece, although 2 microns is a thick layer:
DO NOT CLEAN WITH CHEMICALS. Plating is more delicate than pure metals. Wipe gently with a wet cloth to clean, avoid rubbing.
REMOVE AT NIGHT. This will reduce the extra rubbing to the skin. Also, wearing an item for 24 hours may cause unwanted reaction through dirt and sweat.
AVOID CHLORINE AND HOUSEHOLD CLEANING PRODUCTS. Remove when in the shower or when cleaning. Also do not wear when swimming, as chlorine can permanently damage the colour of the plating.
STORE LIKE METALS TOGETHER. Different metals will cause rapid tarnish when in contact together, so store them separately.

Meet The Designer
Cristina is an Italian Architect who Graduated in Architecture (summa cum laude) in Florence, and now lives and works in London.
From her grandmother, who collected unique jewels and gems from around the world, she inherited an unconditional love for jewels. To gain a deeper understanding of jewellery, and the techniques involved in their creation, Cristina attended courses at Central Saint Martins, the world-renowned arts, fashion and design college.
Her work blends the magic of architecture with the world of jewellery, all the while incorporating diverse influences and inspirations: from art, to nature, tribal traditions and the adornments of ancient civilisations.
These disparate influences are brought together in a design style that is both contemporary and minimal, which innovatively uses parametric patterns. She likes to use 3D printing as a construction technique.
By fusing technology and tradition, her intention is to blend the past and the future into a distinct version of the present.
Cristina’s high quality jewels are made in London with precious materials.
These jewels are for confident women who want to look feminine, sexy, sophisticated and original at any occasion.
