Abomey Indigo Silk Scarf
Abomey Indigo Silk Scarf
This silk scarf design is for maximalism lovers! XL African animal design printed on 100% Italien silk satin in a combination of striking deep blue, is creating this interesting infusion of cultural mix. African with an Asian twist.
Our luxurious 100% silk satin is incredibly soft and shiny. Anything you would expect out of a silk scarf.
Designer ANATH chose this deep blue color as it is associated with stability, depth and calming effects.
This playful silk scarf design is inspired by embroidery patterns that were found in the ancient kingdom of Dahomey, Africa. These tapestries were specially made for the ruling king, depicting Naïve symbols as animal and human figures, all praising his ruling, the life and prosperity of the tribes, and the surrounding African nature and animal life. These embroidered cloths were used for interior decorations such as wall hangings, coverlets and others.
This gorgeous silk scarf will get immediate attention! Its shine looks extremely luxurious. A combination of elegant black pants and a classic buttoned shirt will do the trick! For an office event, romantic dinner or a classy cocktail bar.

Meet The Designer
Great passion for patterns, tribal arts and unrevealed exotic designs, has led designer ANATH on a mission to create unique high-end luxury accessories. ANATH’s artistic goals are to explore and dust off those ancient fallen kingdoms and interpret them back to modern life. For centuries silk has been the cloth of the highest ranks and there for acknowledged as the most precious and luxurious fabric. Today, in between an ocean of synthetic materials it is even more important to pursue slow and sustainable fashion that celebrates high quality natural fabric products.
Our collection is inspired by the traditional and folk art of ancient tribal cultures, architectural elements and abstract compositions. The designer investigates the relations between old and new patterns, ancient Naïve artistry with its special circumstances and how do we perceive them as modern a society. The collection comes to explore and uncover the hidden treasures of the past and to transform them into an indispensable luxurious accessory for a modern lifestyle.
