MIGA Swimwear is a Latine-owned sustainable swimsuit brand that truly lives by the motto: all bodies are swimsuit bodies. The owner, María Luisa Mendiola surveyed over 400 women, including members of the disability community, to find their favorite styles resulting in functional and comfortable swimwear that inspires confidence in all bodies. The brand donates 5% of their stock to the disability community, and also continuously partners with organizations that support this group. All of their styles are made ethically in the USA, use only sustainable SPF50 fabrics made from recycled nylon (think up-cycled fish nets) and their packaging is the first recycled mailer that uses algae ink. MIGA is the next best thing to shopping second hand; do good and feel good.
