Style notes

David Watson collaborates with artists creating classic British designs.

Liz Lippiatt, renowned textile designer-printer, was inspired by photographs of Bluebird CN7 in the extraordinary landscape of Lake Eyre, Western Australia. The car broke the world land speed record there in 1964. Liz created this evocative design during a recent visit to the area. Bluebird CN7 is on display at the National Motor Museum.
