Handmade in the Alistair R workshop, these Cairn cufflinks are double sided with two round cabochon cut stones set into a classic bezel setting in an A-frame link design. The link is cast out of a single piece of silver with no moving parts and is designed to be easy to put on and sit comfortably all day. All Alistair R silver cufflinks are hallmarked with the 925 Sterling Silver mark and Alistair R makers mark.

Tiger eye is a beautiful golden to brown gemstone with undulating bands of color through it. This variety, sourced in South Africa, has a silky, lustrous appearance. Tigers eye cufflinks are very versatile as they work very well for business as well as casual - particularly with autumn color outfits or tweeds.

Cufflinks are shipped in a cufflink box, with an elegant gift envelope and gift card enclosed.
We advise using the supplied case for storage and transport. Stones should be treated as fragile objects as they can chip or even break if dropped on a hard surface.
Always protect your jewellery from knocks, scratches, chemicals (including cosmetics, sun-screens, bleach, cleaning materials etc)
Only clean jewellery with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth. Silver will tarnish gradually over time – a natural process. To remove light tarnishing use a soft lint-free cloth to gently buff the silver. Silver polish can be used very gently on the silver parts. Ensure that the stones are avoided as most semi-precious stones are porous and polish may penetrate the surface leaving permanent stains. Heavy tarnishing should only be dealt with by a professional jeweller.
The round cufflink face measures 10mm (diameter) x 8mm (height)

Meet The Designer

Alistair R is an independent premium jewelry workshop based in Northern Ireland.

Through our emphasis on simple, timeless design we handcraft uniquely beautiful pieces imbued with history. Every one of our designs is made by us and hallmarked in the UK and aims to capture the alchemy and unique character of our hand selected gem and semi precious stones.

Alistair Wright set up Alistair R in 2009. Inspired by a set of moonstone and gold cufflinks, a family heirloom of timeless quality, and a lifelong interest in gemstones and geology, Alistair left the corporate world behind to train in stone carving and goldsmithing, launching initially with a range of cufflinks. It was not long before he was asked to incorporate his designs into necklaces and other jewelry, and so the range has grown, always reflecting our passion for natural materials and the desire for simple, striking and uncluttered design.

Using ethically sourced rough stone alongside stone we find in the wild we carve simple forms to show the beauty of the natural material. All of our jewelry is put together by hand and finished in our Northern Irish workshop.
