Selda Akgül, a Turkish designer, is inspired by the natural environment of the Mediterranean. She creates designs that resonate with intense emotion and energy guided by intuition. Selda combines a family jewelry business with a passion for design. Selda Jewelry was founded at the end of 2016, following a five-year journey with the grand jewelry masters of Istanbul’s own Grand Bazaar.

Her designs focus on courageous women and the power they carry. Selda recognizes not only that beauty is hidden in details, but also that the flawed beauty of nature introduces necessary diversity into our lives. All pieces are hand crafted and unique. Comprised primarily of 14K rose gold and diamonds, Selda also uses semi-precious stones in her designs because of their powerful energetic abilities.
