Copper Saucepan 2.8 Qt With Flower Lid
Need help? (929) 480 6767 | Help Center
Hand-hammered by our skilled coppersmiths, the 2.8 quarts saucepan gives you an unparalleled mix of beauty and strength. Its shimmering copper exterior is combined with a double-layer tin interior lining. Expertly applied by hand, this extra protective layer ensures food keeps its intended flavor profile all while protecting your copper cookware from wear and tear.
A finely wrought copper flower handle is situated at the center of the lid, blending the saucepan with an artistic touch. Cast bronze handles are placed conveniently at both sides of this copper cookware piece, providing you with a convenient way to transfer meals from stove to table.
Amoretti Brothers copper cookware pieces are made with solid recycled copper and tin lined interiors for a conductive cooking surface. Copper tends to oxidize over time, forming a bluish layer called a patina. With a little care, you can keep your copper cookware pots and pans in near brand new condition.
For the exterior copper layer, use a copper polish to clear the surface of tarnishing and white spots. While a common natural alternative is to clean copper cookware with lemon juice and salt, we highly discourage this. Lemon juice is an acidic liquid that can damage your copper cookware in the long run. There is also a potentially poisonous chemical reaction that occurs when copper and lemon juice are brought into contact with each other.
To ensure your safety and the longevity of your copper cookware, please use professionally tested copper cleaners only.
As for the tin interior, simply wash it with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or cloth. Scrub gently but vigorously in order to remove stains and food residue.
Do not use abrasive cleaning tools and corrosive chemicals on your copper cookware pans and pots in order to keep them from degrading.
Never heat an empty tin-lined copper cookware pan or pot, allow water to completely evaporate until dry, or add salt to your cookware if the water has not yet boiled.
The tin lining of copper cookware begins to wear out after several years of usage. This is easily remedied by having the copper pan or pot re-tinned. Please contact a professional to re-tin your cookware to ensure proper results. For more information on re-tinning and our copper cookware sale, please contact us at [email protected]
