Aneesha revisits traditional Indian fabrics in a contemporary way. The long-time Indian textile tradition blends with the Italian sartorial know-how in Aneesha’s dresses, many of which are one-of-a-kind. Fine silks, cottons and colored organza - all handmade or vintage - are the types of fabrics carefully sourced by Lavinia, designer and founder of the brand, during her travels in India, making sustainability and up-cycling key elements of the process. It is in the Indian Woman’s way of dressing, so gracefully wrapped in her Sari, that Lavinia found the expression of a sacred femininity that became the main inspiration of her creations. Aneesha gives life to a feminine, minimal yet sensual style, combining tradition and innovation into unique pieces with a delicate and exotic flavour.
