Sculpting metal on a tiny scale In contrast to the digitalisation of the goldsmith's craft, each piece by hana kim is made in the Zurich studio in collaboration with a small traditional Swiss casting house and later gold-plated in Switzerland. Korean elements are reflected in the jewelry and meet traditional Swiss goldsmithing. These two worlds reflect the roots of the jewelry maker. In addition to quality and design, the focus is above all on ethical production with fairly and traceably sourced raw materials. All the silver, for example, comes from the recycling loop in Switzerland and Germany from members of the "Responsible Jewelry Council". The gold-plating is done with Fairtrade gold.
