Haptic Lab is rooted in a history of using sensory design with the intention to do good and find a way. Founded by Emily Fischer, a Brooklyn-based architect, the first product Emily created was a quilted map when her mother was diagnosed with glaucoma — these early projects were meant to be used as a wayfinding tool for the visually impaired. Helping people “see” through their sense of touch, their Haptic sense. Honouring this history, today, Haptic Lab continues to specialize in tactile and sensory design, designing objects and spaces that explore the sense of touch and feel.
Unfortunately we do not currently stock the Haptic Lab collection at Wolf & Badger.
