It is in everyday objects like cameras and magnifying glasses, as well as far away places like spacecraft, satellites, and even the Moon and Mars! The tolerances for optical glass are extremely high because the tools they go in are extremely precise. Any imperfection and the glass is "useless" - That’s where we come in! We buy refuse from optical glass manufacturers, save it from entering the waste stream, and turn it into a product of higher value. We feel that this approach is something we need to see MUCH more of in terms of what we make and purchase.
