Josefin Landälv

Josefin Landalv is a Swedish weaver and textile designer. Her products are inspired by the naturally accruing characteristics of materials in combination with carefully designed woven structures. Her work draws inspiration from her Scandinavian heritage, principally through the bright, crisp and primary colors found in Swedish folklore, fauna and landscapes. Josefin uses sustainable design strategies from the early stages of the design process - being a weaver means she can integrate this into her own methods of creating textiles. She works closely with her suppliers from her studio in South East London to ensure that the materials and processes in her production are as environmentally sustainable as possible.
