My Hungry Valentine Ceramics Studio focuses on handmade tableware for contemporary homes and modern eateries. Created in 2020 in London by Valentine Benoist, the brand is now based in Madrid, Spain, where she relocated in 2022. She now makes all her pieces by hand from her studio in the neighbourhood of Vallehermoso. Restaurants and craft being her first loves, the French-born food writer naturally moved on from writing about restaurants to making plates and more! She likes to hand-build her wares from stoneware clay, keeping simplicity and functionality at the heart of every design. Each piece comes with its own story, its own tiny variations.
